Our core principle is simple: all image processing happens locally in your browser, and files are never uploaded to any server. This is not just a feature — it is the fundamental principle behind our entire architecture.

How Your Images & Files Are Processed

1. What Information We Collect

Simply put: we collect almost nothing.

1.1 Information We Do Not Collect

• Image files: images you drag in or select are processed entirely in your browser and never leave your device. Compression is done locally, without passing through any remote server.
• Personal information: we do not require registration or login, and we do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers or any personally identifiable information.
• Location information: we do not access GPS location, IP-based geolocation or any location data.
• Device information: we do not actively collect device model, operating system version, screen resolution or other device fingerprinting information.

1.2 Technical Information Collected Automatically

• Basic access logs: our static hosting service may automatically record basic HTTP request information (such as access time, requested URL, HTTP status code and bytes transferred). These logs are used only to ensure service stability, contain no personally identifiable information, and are automatically cleared on a regular basis.

2. Cookies and Local Storage

This site uses a minimal amount of cookies and browser local storage (localStorage), solely to improve your experience, with no tracking capability whatsoever. Specifically:

• Theme preference: records your chosen dark/light/system theme so it is applied automatically on your next visit.
• Language preference: records your chosen interface language so the page is displayed in your preferred language.
• Onboarding state: records whether you have already seen the first-time guide, to avoid showing it repeatedly.

This data is stored only in your local browser and is never sent to any server. You can clear this data at any time in your browser settings. This site deploys no advertising trackers or behavioral analytics scripts; to continuously optimize search and access experience, we use Baidu Analytics for anonymous traffic analysis (collecting only aggregated data such as page views and sources, and never the content of any files you process).

3. Third-Party Services

This site integrates only the essential local analytics service (see below), and no third-party services from outside your region. Specifically:

• We do not integrate external analytics tools such as Google Analytics; to optimize Chinese search experience, we use Baidu Analytics (Baidu Tongji) for anonymous visit statistics, collecting only page-level aggregated data and never the content of any files you process.
• We do not integrate any advertising platform (such as Google AdSense).
• We do not load external CDN resources — all scripts, styles and static assets are served from our own domain.
• We do not use social media share buttons (which typically contain tracking code).
• We do not use any AI analysis or data-processing third-party APIs.

This means that while you use this site, apart from the anonymous access data required by Baidu Analytics, no third party can learn about your specific file-processing behavior. You can open the "Network" panel of your browser's developer tools to verify — apart from Baidu Analytics requests (hm.baidu.com), all business requests point to our own domain.

4. Data Security

Because your files never leave your browser, the traditional "data transmission security" risk barely exists on this site. Nevertheless, we still take the following measures:

• Full-site HTTPS: all pages are transmitted over encrypted HTTPS, preventing man-in-the-middle attacks from tampering with page code.
• Content Security Policy (CSP): strict CSP headers restrict script sources, preventing XSS attacks and malicious code injection.
• No server-side processing: compression algorithms run in the browser sandbox, so there is no risk of server-side file storage, processing or leakage.
• Open-source transparency: the project code is fully open source, so anyone can audit the code for privacy issues.

5. Children's Privacy

This site's service is available to users of all ages. Because we do not collect personal information and do not require registration, there is no specific data-collection risk targeting children. If you are a parent or guardian and have any concerns about your child's privacy, you are welcome to contact us.

6. Your Rights

Depending on the privacy laws of different jurisdictions (such as GDPR, CCPA, and China's Personal Information Protection Law), you may have the following rights: right of access, right of rectification, right of erasure, right to restrict processing, right to data portability, and right to object. Since this site does not collect or store your personal data, these rights rarely need to be exercised in practice.
